Welcome to the Curiosity Battery Project!
Welcome!
We are embarking on a 5-year journey funded by the Leverhulme Trust to explore curiosity in primary school children. Our mission is to understand and measure curiosity, examining its impact on learning and well-being over time.
This website is for schools, parents, researchers, and anyone passionate about nurturing young minds. Stay updated on our progress, events, and opportunities to get involved.
Join us in uncovering how curiosity shapes brighter futures for children!
What are we doing?
Over five years, we will be developing and testing a set of measures of curiosity in children aged 7–11. We will explore different dimensions and elements of curiosity and their impacts.
Key questions:
What is curiosity?
What types of curiosity exist?
How does curiosity and its types affect learning and well-being?
